DWAD were delighted to receive planning permission for this new build in the picturesque village of Tissington. This was a significant achievement given the challenges often faced in this part of Derbyshire due to it being within a conservation area and historic village.
The design seamlessly integrates modern living with the natural beauty of the surrounding area and highlights the potential for thoughtful development in rural areas. The scheme uses local stone and brick chimneys that mirror the existing homes within the village, meeting the planning requirements.
The traditional and pretty design with the entrance in the centre of the building fits with the design of other older buildings including the stately home, Tissington Hall.
"JMI Planning assisted DWAD to secure planning permission for this characterful new build property at the edge of Tissington. Approval was granted we believe in part due to the sympathetic use of local stone and brick chimneys echoed in other older properties with the village."
